What drives this "Indigo Bro" as an artist is the same thing that motivated him as a former English teacher for LAUSD--Presenting empowering concepts & information in an exciting, engaging manner with the intention  of generating thought-provoking dialogue that inspires self-reflection, mindfulness & evolutionary change in one's own life. "Coherent integration of the whole person is always what I'm interested in," Harrison says, "not only as it regards people as individuals, but so that they recognize themselves as stakeholders in the 'civil body politick' of their country, of society in general, and as citizens of Mother Gaia and members of the Human Race writ-large." 

These factors & more are what led Harrison to envisioning the "8% Initiative," predicated on the idea that--in order to effect lasting change in a population--motivating a mere eight percent of that population is all that's required for said change to occur. OPENING SEQUENCE (PAGE ONE OF COMIC): We PUSH THROUGH the dense foliage of the Amazonian jungle to the sounds of a RUSHING WATERFALL... A LONE MAN squatting on a rock mid-river is TESTING the water with a LITMUS PAPER that TURNS COLOR… The man WITHDRAWS A SATELLITE PHONE to make a call as we now see him FRAMED THROUGH A SNIPER’S CROSSHAIRS… We then witness the sniper’s bullet BLOW THROUGH THE MAN’S SKULL… The man’s lifeless body DRIFTS OVER THE FALLS, bobbing downstream like a log. 

“SOJOURNER’S SONG”—the first installment of what is to become the “Sojourner Trilogy” of feature films—is the origin story of DANIELO “DANE” BOJORQUES, an environmental documentarian who, while filming a peaceful protest against Brazilian rainforest deforestation that turns deadly, undergoes a mystical transformation that leads him to not only become an unwitting player in a game of international intrigue, but may very well make him the fulfillment of an ancient indigenous prophecy with global implications.

An epic saga for the modern era, the tapestry of “SOJOURNER’S SONG” weaves the threads of RAINFOREST DEVASTATION and INDIGENOUS PROPHECY with legends surrounding the ancient civilization of LEMURIA and its relationship to the STARGATE PORTALS OF EARTH’S PLANETARY GRID SYSTEM.   

The idea is to follow author Andy Weir’s “Project Hail Mary” business model—Releasing the story in “serialized installments” on Instagram, Substack, Patreon, etc., building a fanbase of readers & a buzz surrounding the story, thereby garnering the attention of either the Publishing industry to get a book deal, or a major studio deal to produce the already-written screenplay: We’re going to “flip the script” (pun intended)—Instead of adapting a pre-existing film into a novel or comic book to leverage the brand, our goal is to CREATE DEMAND FOR PRODUCING THIS POWERFUL MOVIE TRILOGY BY CREATING AN APPETITE FOR THE STORY ITSELF THAT A PUBLISHER OR A STUDIO SEES AS A VIABLE REVENUE STREAM (think “Hunger Games,” “Divergent,” “Maze Runner”—You get the picture).

As Dane’s character evolves throughout the trilogy’s story arc, he becomes a fully-activated & evolved human being, first acquiring the ability to TELEPORT & SHAPE-SHIFT in the first film; “BI-LOCATE” in the second film; and eventually learning to transcend time itself by virtue of MASTERING TRI-WAVE TRAVEL in the final installment—not unlike the hummingbird & it’s ability to go forwards, backwards or simply hover in space & time—thereby becoming a “DIMENSION DANCER.”
